Another round of chemo down the hatch. We are 2/3 of the way done now, folks! And doing pretty well, frankly.
Had a happy chat with Tammi this evening, and even though she’s feeling zonked today, overall her body seems to be tolerating the chemo pretty well. (But if you were thinking of calling, perhaps an email would be better.)
Her blood work actually got better since the last visit (for the 3 tests that determine whether or not chemo will be administered). White Blood Cells went up a tiny bit (3.7 to 3.8), Platelets went up too (161 to 188), and Neutrophils stayed steady (1.3, which is a tiny bit below what they want, but still steady). All good news.
Thanks for all the encouraging comments. If you’d like to add a fun story for Tammi to read, please visit the Stories page!
Sure has left me tired, though!
Hope you have enough energy to enjoy yourself!

Tammi, You are amazing and always have been. Each post has helped me feel more connected to the journey you are on. Thanks for sharing ,for letting us in to your life. The photos of you that Beth posted made me feel that you are right here sharing a cup of tea. Remember the tea parties in the old days here in Hardwick. How lucky we were to live in the same old house. Sending love to you and Craig. Michelle& Harry
So great to ‘hear’ your voice, Michelle. Love the memories of our years together.
