Had a lovely visit from my long-time friend, Tim, on Monday. Tim and I go way back to 1967 when we were both working at Camp Deertrees for Reading Research Institute. We sure had a great time remembering those days and catching up.
Two days later on August 1 I had my ‘wrap-up’ visit with my lovely surgeon, Dr. Everett. (My 1st inclination was to term this my ‘post mortem‘ visit but Craig & Dr. Everett voted against that). Whatever we call the appointment, I was deemed good to go. All tests saying flattering things and recent blood tests looking better. Guess all I have to do now is start feeling more energetic. The energy is great 1st thing in the morning but by the time I exercise, walk Ballew and have breakfast I’m ready to put my feet up for awhile. Good thing we have the Olympics taped!
So, GirlPartsGoneBad may be winding down. I sure have enjoyed all your comments and support and would enjoy continuing to have that in the coming months …….. but I believe I am off the ‘Critical’ List. HURRAH!
Wait, wait, wait…..can’t you rename the blog to something like…”Bad Girl Parts GONE and Girl Carries on with Wonderful Life” so you can keep us up to date on all the super adventures to come? We’ll miss not keeping ‘tabs’ on you!
